TRL Is Back… Sort Of!!

If you grew up in the 90's then you most DEFINITELY remember TRL: Total Request Live! one, if not the best music video shows! You came home from school, flipped on MTV and watched Carson Daly count down the top 10 best music videos!! Even their Spring Break events made spring break what it is today!

Sadly the show came to an end in 2008 as music videos slowly became less and less important. But now, TRL is making a come back!! Sort Of! It's coming back in the form of Total Registration Live, a one-day special airing today, Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m.

The new TRL format was initiated to encourage millennials to get out and vote in the upcoming election. It will focus on important issues such as racial injustice, national security, immigration, education and gender equality.

And of course, it wouldn't be a TRL special without performances either and there will be plenty of those! Appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Rock The Vote spokeswoman Kendall Jenner, Joss Whedon, Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello, Vic Mensa, Natalia Dyer, actor and singer Mack Wilds and more.
