Toys R Us Making a Comeback This Holiday Season… Sort Of

Those sad to see the once-great toy retailer Toys R Us leaving Johnson City will once be able to shop like a Toys R Us kid once again.

News broke this week that Target will run Toys R Us' new website, which is launching this holiday season, according to a report by CNBC.

The report reads that Target is joining with the TRU Kids, the parent company of Toys R Us to launch ToysRUs.com.

Toys R Us stores across the nation closed last year after the company filed for bankruptcy, but this new website will once again allow the company to have an online presence.

So no, we will not be reliving the glory days of getting those thick Toys R Us holiday gift guides, where we would circle each and everything we would beg and plead our parents to buy for us. However it is a step in the right direction.
