Christmas in the Southern Tier is going to be a bit more fun and a lot more colorful this year as the Town of Union and Visions Federal Credit Union have teamed up to present a special Christmas celebration that everyone in your family will enjoy.

On Sunday, December 8, there will be loads of free and fun things for you and your family to do and see both at Visions Federal Credit Union on Country Club Road in Endwell as well as at Highland Park on Hooper Road in Endwell.

The festivities at Visions will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will include photos with Santa himself, crafts, balloons, cookie decorating, performances by Johnny Only and the Johnson City High School Sophisticats and more.

At Highland Park, the fun will begin at 2:30 p.m. and run until 6 p.m.  There will be live reindeer, pony cart rides, carousel rides, hot chocolate, a bounce house, and lots more. The evening will end with a special tree lighting ceremony and caroling at 5:15 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks display at 5:30 p.m.

Oh, and you won't have to worry about driving back and forth between the bank and the park because there will be free transportation between both locations from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. thanks to the BC Transit Trolley.

* Please note that a portion of the proceeds from some of the events being held inside the ZuperEventz Family Zone will be given to Super Cooper Saves the Day.
