Town of Maine Couple Busted in Narcotics Raid

A Town of Maine couple is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force searched a home on Ellis Payne Road in the Town of Maine January 31.

29 year old Kacey Rozelle and 30 year old Paul Reed are charged with four counts each of felony criminal possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Authorities say they found about 10 grams of crystal methamphetamine, about 10 grams of unpackaged powder heroin, 11 bags of packaged heroin, 3 Subozone sublingual film strips, drug packaging material and $727 in suspected drug sale proceeds.

Rozelle and Reed are being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
