Today Is the Day to Show Appreciation to Our Hairstylists
With everything being put on pause because of COVID-19, we have a new appreciation for things that we've always taken for granted. You don't realize what you have until you don't have it anymore.

I know there is something that we all will appreciate even more this year, the person that makes our hair go with the flow, it's National Hairstylist Appreciation Day.
Is your hair going everywhere...except the way that you want it to go? I appreciate my hairstylist although I think of her more as a magician. I always wait for special events to get my hair cut... the beginning of basketball season, a presentation in front of a large audience, and now the end of the coronavirus pandemic.
I say that she's a magician but she has said to me more than once, "Stop trimming your own hair, this isn't a magic wand." She always seems to pull the rabbit out of her hat and makes me look good.
Today would be a great day, to get a hold of them and see how they are doing. Order a gift card or two for future cuts, that's the best way to show them how much you appreciate them today and every day.
Hopefully, sooner rather than later, we'll be able to see our hairstylist, barber, beautician...or in my case, miracle worker. I don't want to call her out because of the way my hair looks and it's not her fault.
Here's another way to honor them today. Tag their first name using #HairstylistAppreciationDay.
