Three More COVID Deaths Reported in Tioga County

Tioga County reports three new deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic while the county passes the 1,000 case mile mark.

Officials November 19 reported three more residents had died bringing the pandemic’s toll to 54.  Eight additional cases bring Tioga County to a total of 1,003 cases since the start of the outbreak.

Tioga was the only Southern Tier county to report additions to the fatality list.

Elsewhere in the region, Broome County reports 65 new cases for a total of 4,484 and 112 deaths. Chenango County had six new cases for a total of 518 and has lost ten residents to the pandemic.  Cortland County reports 17 new cases for a total of 1,168 and one death while Delaware County had seven new cases, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 296 and 9 deaths.
