Earlier this year, the great Steve King put together a list of ten items that were invented in the state of New York. That list is vast, and has some of the most normal, everyday items that are still used today. That being said, after poking around a bit online, the folks at New York Upstate put together a list outlining some of the other inventions that were created in Upstate.

In this list, there are a few household items which most homes have on hand. There are a few "tools of the trade" for generations of blue-collar workers. There's even an invention that the average sports fan may not know.

With that said, here are ten more items that were invented in Upstate New York, that you may not have known were created here.
