A teenager who was staying in the home of his aunt in the Town of Maine and who was accused of stomping the woman’s little dog to death will be sentenced in June after pleading guilty to felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

18 year old Kyle Corbin had been staying with the relative for about a month as he was visiting from Florida when the dog was killed April 3 and thrown into a creek.

The teen called his aunt and said her trailer on Route 26 had been broken into.  When she arrived, she found a pool of blood on the carpet and her Chihuahua missing.

Authorities still have not said what may have motivated the teen to kill the pet.
