Talk Like a Pirate and Get Free Food at Long John Silver’s and Krispy Kreme

Tomorrow, Saturday, September 19, is "Talk Like a Pirate Day". And some restaurants are getting in on the fun!

Some locations of Long John Silver's will be getting in on the fun and giving away a free fish or chicken tender to anyone who talks like a pirate. But there is a catch, you can't just walk in and say "Arrrrhhh!"  You have to say a whole sentence. A few examples that they offered up where "ARR! I've come to plunder me free fish" and "Ahoy matey! I've come for me free fish or chicken tender!" And they say if you dress like a pirate you're going to get even more free stuff because they will give you a free two piece fish or chicken tender basket. Now you can't just come in with an eye patch and get that but you do have to wear at least three pieces of the pirate outfit.
And at participating Krispy Kreme locations you will get a free glazed doughnut if you talk like a pirate. And if you come dressed like a pirate they're going to give you a dozen glazed donuts. And if you go when the red light is on, it's even better, trust me!
So there you go, if you dress up and talk like a pirate tomorrow you could be enjoying a few meals on the house. Plus it's fun isn't it!? Just make sure to leave your rum at home!
