Police: Man Shot in Face in Binghamton Neighborhood
Binghamton detectives are trying to find the person who repeatedly shot a man.
Authorities say police were sent to 12½ Franklin Street in the First Ward around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. There had been a report of shots fired in the area.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had sustained gunshot wounds to his face and an arm. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment and released.
Investigators did not release the name of the man who was injured. They also provided no information about the suspect or what occurred before the shooting.
Police have not said whether they believe this incident was related to a series of other recent shootings around Binghamton.
