Strange Call Results in Charges for Mt. Upton Man

New York State Police say they have arrested a Mount Upton man following a report of a man acting strangely in his vehicle at the Mirabito gas station on East River Road in Bainbridge at around 3:30 p.m. August 5.

Troopers say 58 year old Harold Reid Junior is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities say Reid was found to be in possession of heroin and Suboxone.

He was ordered to appear in Town of Bainbridge Court later this month.
