State Police Look For Woman Who Tried to Pass a Fake $100 in Cortlandville
New York State Police are looking for a woman who attempted to use a fake $100 bill in the Town of Cortlandville in November.
Authorities say an employee of the Walmart on Bennie Road immediately recognized the bill as counterfeit and prevented the woman from buying anything with it on November 1.
The woman is described as black, with long black hair, long fingernails and wearing a black sweatshirt with a white Puma logo on it. She appears to be in her 20s.
