A Suffolk County woman is accused of placing an abnormally large order for Tramadol pills while working at the SPEAK Animal Hospital in the Town of Maine and altering business records to conceal the theft of the pain-killer.

New York State Police say 35-year-old Christina Crabb of Smithtown was arrested at 1:56 p.m. February 22 when she reported to the Endwell barracks and was charged with felony falsifying business records.

Authorities said they had received the report of missing Tramadol pills from the animal hospital on January 19.

Crabb was released and ordered to appear in Town of Maine Court later this month.
