‘Smallville’ Actress Allison Mack Arrested for Role in Nxivm Sex Cult
Actress Allison Mack, known for her role as Chloe Sullivan on Smallville, has been arrested for her alleged role in a notorious sex cult, Page Six reports.
On Friday (April 20), federal prosecutors announced the actress had been taken into custody for her involvement in Nxivm, a "sex slave cult" operating in upstate New York.
Mack is expended to appear in court on charges of sex trafficking and forced labor.
Back in October, an escaped "sex slave" victim went public with her experience with Nxivm and leader Keith Raneire, who had been hiding out in a villa in Mexico before being caught last month.
Page Six reports that Mack was both Raneire's "slave" as well as a "master" to other slaves, who were "forced to have sex with Raniere and get his initials burned into their pubic region."
The actress stands accused of luring other women into the cult, as well as blackmailing them with "collateral" including intimate photos.
It's reported that Mack was recruited to join Nxivm by fellow Smallville star Kristin Kreuk back in 2006. Mack currently faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
