Seth Rogen Knew About a Massive Political Scandal 10 Years Before Anyone Else

Am I the only one that feels like there’s barely a difference between pop culture and politics anymore’?!

Generally, when I hear that somebody’s got a massive secret scoop about the President of the United States, the last person I’d guess is Seth Rogen. But Ellen found out Rogen’s been sitting on this huge news story for 10 years.

As you may know, a porn star named Stormy Daniels is claiming she had an affair with the President of the United States. That, in and of itself, is a wild story. But it gets weirder: The first person Stormy Daniels ever told about the alleged affair outside of close family and friends was Seth Rogen.

WHAT?!

Apparently Daniels had two bit roles in Rogen movies--one in 40 Year Old Virgin and the other in Knocked Up. While she was shooting the films, she became friendly with Rogen on-set. According to Entertainment Weekly, it was then that Daniels first claimed she was having an affair with the President.

At the time, Rogen--never imagining Trump would be President one day--didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about the chat. It wasn’t until years later that he finally realized the conversation’s significance.
