Binghamton’s Roberson Museum to Offer Ghoul’s Night Out
My daughter, Tara's favorite holiday is Halloween. I think it's because she was almost born on the final day of October instead of November 3rd. She loves putting on different costumes and she gets very creative.
She's a "resident" at Hellstead Manor again this year, so watch out in the laboratory. She likes to take paranormal expeditions and post them on her "Paranormal Girl" YouTube Channel. This would be a destination that she would like and you will too.
Roberson Museum Family Halloween Spooktacular
It's the popular Family Halloween Spooktacular returning to the Roberson Museum on Saturday, October 29th. Everyone is invited to come dressed in your favorite costume for trick or treating throughout the museum.
There will be Haunted Mansion Tours, (that would be Tara's favorite), spooky stories and a DNA lab where you can build your own monsters with specific traits. There will also be paper crafts and games too.
Are you a pumpkin carving kind of person? The Roberson is having their first Carved Pumpkin contest that's open to all. You are encouraged to bring your carved pumpkin to the museum to be judged by the community on-line and in-person at the Spooktacular.
You can register for the Carved Pumpkin contest and the Spooktacular and are pre-registration only. But wait there's more! There will also be a special Halloween planetarium show called, "Halloween: Celestial Origins."
The Halloween Family Spooktacular is Saturday, October 29th from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Roberson Museum and Science Center, 30 Front Street in Binghamton. Ha Ha Ha!
Of course, when we talk about spooky and fun places to visit near Binghamton, we can't forget about our famous skeleton on Country Club Road in Endicott.
