Riverdale star Vanessa Morgan announced her engagement to Chicago White Sox pitcher Michael Kopech.

Morgan, who plays Toni Topaz on the hit CW show, shared the news via an image of Kopech proposing in front of a waterfall, while Kopech shared a video of the exact moment he got down on one knee.

"So I’ll start with the obvious: I love you," Kopech wrote alongside the video. "I love you intensely, passionately, & also at times, recklessly. I make decisions on the spur of the moment (I mean look at how our relationship has gone up to this point). I’m a very non-traditional type of person and I know I’ve found my match in you when it comes to that especially. Our relationship probably doesn’t make sense to many people for a s--- ton of reasons, but we’re not doing it for them. We know this is forever."

Morgan's on-screen love interest and real-life friend, Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom), comment on the announcement. "Omggggg dying for this post ... bestie’s getting married !!!!!!! I’m beyond happy for you my little babies," she wrote.

Co-star Camila Mendes also commented, writing, "You're kidding me!! Congrats beautiful." Riverdale cast members including Lili Reinhart, Charles Melton and Drew Ray Tanner also left comments of support and love for the happy couple.
