Pete Davidson ‘Is Doing a Lot Better’ After Scary Instagram Post
Pete Davidson is in a much better heard space two weeks after posting a troubling message on Instagram.
A source recently told Us Weekly the Saturday Night Live star "is doing a lot better." It's unclear what steps he's taken since sharing the post, in which he said he didn't "want to be on this earth anymore."
TMZ obtained photos of Davidson, 25, in Miami, Florida on Saturday. The comedian was seen sitting poolside with a mystery woman, chatting her up. The outlet could not identify the woman or share details about her relationship with Davidson, but said he appeared "to be happy in her company."
Davidson appeared to have changed his hair. Rather than the light green-blue hair he'd been sporting, Davidson was seen with short, dark hair at the pool at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.
The public siting is only his second since the incident that left fans and friends concerned for Davidson. The first came during a Machine Gun Kelly concert in Ohio, where Davidson reportedly also spent time with Dave Chapelle. The comic was spotted on stage during the show, but kept a low profile.
Two weeks ago, the New York City Police Department performed a wellness check on Davidson after he posted a message on Instagram, suggesting he was suicidal.
He wrote, "I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing by best to stay here for you but i actually don't know how much longer i cant last. all i've ever tried to do was help people. just remember i told you so."
The post also worries ex-fiancee Ariana Grande, who rushed to the Saturday Night Live set to check on Davidson. He reportedly turned her away, however.
