Person Who Worked At Tioga County Meal Distribution Tests Positive for COVID-19
The Tioga County Health Department wants people who went to a recent meal distribution site in Tioga County to self-quarantine after someone there tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the department, a person who worked at the Summer Meal Site at the Berkshire Library on August 4 tested positive. Officials say the person worked at the site from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. that day.
Anyone who was at the library during that time for any reason is asked to self-quarantine until August 18 to prevent spreading the virus.
Anyone who develops symptoms of coronavirus should contact their healthcare provider immediately. Click here to learn more about the symptoms of coronavirus.
Free testing is available for New Yorkers at Binghamton University and at the Ithaca Mall.
