When it comes to Halloween at my house Chris and I go all out. We decorate the front yard to the point where some kids are afraid to come up to get candy. Those brave enough to make their way up to us receive a great reward.

Each year we make bags of candy and put 10 different candies in each bag. We really don't mind the teenagers when they come even though when I was younger we were pretty much done with trick-or-treating by the time we were 12.

Every year the debate starts on how old is too old to trick-or-treat. Should there be a cut-off age for this Halloween tradition? Some people think each Town should have their own rule.

One such town is Chesapeake Virginia. According to a post on their government's website, the cutoff age for trick or treating is 12-years-old.

If any person over the age of 12 years shall engage in the

activity commonly known as "trick or treat" or any other

activity of similar character or nature under any name

whatsoever, he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and

shall be punished by a fine of not less than $25.00 nor more

than $100.00 or by confinement in jail for not more than six

months or both.

What do you think? Do you think we should have a law that puts an age limit on trick or treating? Vote below.
