The Binghamton Bearcats women staged a furious comeback in the closing seconds of Saturday afternoon's basketball game at the Events Center but the New Hampshire Wildcats held on for a 54-53 victory.  The win puts New Hampshire's record at 3-8 in America East and 6-18 overall.  Binghamton falls to 4-7 in conference action and 9-15 overall.

Rebecca Carmody paced Binghamton in scoring with 12 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds registering her seventh double-double of the season.  Carly Boland hit for nine points, Kai Moon, eight points and Hayley Moore also scored eight points for the Bearcats.  Karlee Krchnavi pulled down 12 rebounds for the Bearcats.

Binghamton hits the road for the next game with a trip to Baltimore to face the UMBC Retrievers at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday.  The Bearcats return home to host UMass Lowell the following Wednesday, February 20 at 7:00 P.M.
