Madison VanDenburg Returns to New York For Hometown Visit

Before performing Sunday to be crowned the next American Idol, Madison VanDenburg returns to New York for a hometown visit.

The Cohoes teen will start with a prep rally at Shaker High School around 1:30pm today, according to the North Colonie School District. Then it's off to a parade before a concert for the community at Crossings Park in Colonie. The parade will start at 4:15pm at Metro Park Road and end at the Crossings where Madison will perform.

There will be shuttles provided from the Shaker High School parking lot to The Crossings of Colonie for the celebration. There are also several road closures for the parade.

Don't forget to tune into the American Idol finale Sunday, May 19th on ABC at 8. Madison will perform to named this season's winner. She'll even share the stage with Dan & Shay.
