Lady Gaga and Fiance Christian Carino Called Off Their Engagement ‘A Bit Ago’
Lady Gaga and Christian Carino have reportedly called off their engagement.
The couple is said to have reached the decision "a bit ago," according to a report from People. They're said to have come to this decision with very little drama. The relationship simply wasn't meant to be, according to a source.
"It just didn't work out. Relationships sometimes end," the insider alleged, revealing that it happened a while back. "There's no long dramatic story."
Speculation had been rife about Gaga, 32, and Carino's relationship. Fans became especially curious after the "Shallow" singer arrived at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 10 without her beau. She was not wearing her engagement ring at the event and did not thank Carino in her acceptance speeches.
Then, on Valentine's Day, Gaga shared her massive A Star Is Born tribute tattoo, rather than a photo of her fiance. The tattoo is a rose down her spine with "la vie en rose" tattooed alongside the stem.
"Happy Valentine's Day. A tattoo toast to 'la vie en rose' by the beautiful @winterstone my spinal cord is now a rose," she captioned the image.
Gaga also debuted a tattoo of musical notes "G" and "A" on sheet music. The ink appears on her arm, and has gotten serious attention from music savvy fans who noticed that in bass clef the tattoo spelled "BCBC," like Bradley Cooper.
"The notes spelling GAGA in the treble clef, spell BCBC in the bass clef...they really complete each other...," one fan tweeted.
The tattoo only served to further rumors that Gaga and Cooper are romantically involved after appearing in the film together. Cooper, however, was recently spotted on a Valentine's Day date with Irina Shayk, whom he shares a daughter with.
