Kortright Woman Accused of DWI at Three Times Legal Limit

A Kortright woman is accused of driving with a blood alcohol level at more than three times the legal limit.

New York State Police responded to a one-car crash on State Highway 23 in Roxbury in Delaware County at 11:02 p.m. October 23.

The trooper says 34-year-old Christina Carey was found still in the vehicle that had hit a mailbox and was partially in the road.

The authorities say they measured Carey’s blood alcohol content at .26%.

She’s charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and was turned over to a sober party.
