Opened in 1963, Dutch Wonderland in Lancaster, Pennsylvania has been bringing joy to kids for 58 years which means there's an excellent chance that you have special memories of Dutch Wonderland and now, you're sharing them with your kids or grandkids.

Dutch Wonderland is located right on Route 30 (Lincoln Highway) in Lancaster in the heart of a plethora of hotels, restaurants, outlets, and even several Amish attractions. Dutch Wonderland is just over three hours from Binghamton, making it the perfect weekend escape.

If you thought that amusement park season was over, it certainly isn't. As a matter of fact, if you're not a fan of overcrowded spaces or extreme heat, this is the perfect time of year to plan a visit.

For quite a few years, I lived about 20 minutes from Dutch Wonderland and I got to spend a lot of time there doing promotional things for work. I had the pleasure of introducing my younger siblings to this wonderful place and then a few years ago, my son.

My favorite time to visit Dutch Wonderland has always been during the fall and it's because they do a fantastic job with Happy Hauntings. Happy Hauntings is a fun event for all ages in your family and features featuring spooky-themed rides, special entertainment, treats, and even a trick-or-treat trail.

Dutch Wonderland features over 35 kid-friendly rides and attractions. Dutch Wonderland is open Saturdays and Sundays through the last weekend of October, with Happy Hauntings happening the final three weekends of October.
