UFC fighter Jon "Bones" Jones, a Union-Endicott High School graduate, has pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct following an alleged dispute at a strip club.

The 33-year-old Jones had been charged with battery last April after a waitress at an Albuquerque establishment accused him of inappropriate behavior.

Jones is the UFC light heavyweight champion. According to the Albuquerque Journal, the woman who made the allegations didn't want to pursue a battery case against him.

A spokesman for prosecutors indicated there was insufficient evidence to move forward with the charge.

Police video showed the accuser had expressed reluctance to file a complaint against Jones because people were inclined to protect him.

Under terms of the plea deal, the case will be dismissed if Jones isn't arrested in the next 90 days.

KRQE reported Jones is on a 90-day deferred sentence. If he returns to the strip club or violates other terms outlined by the judge, he could wind up with a 90-day jail sentence or a $500 fine.
