A Broome County jury has found a 36-year-old man guilty of two counts of rape in incidents that occurred in Johnson City and the town of Dickinson.

According to the district attorney's office, Adrian Hoyt of Johnson City was convicted Wednesday of first-degree rape and third-degree rape.

Hoyt had been accused of raping a woman in the village of Johnson City last September. The town of Dickinson incident happened in the summer of 2016.

Hoyt was arrested in September by Johnson City police. After the investigation, the district attorney's office presented an additional county to a grand jury in connection with the earlier incident involving another woman.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 12. Prosecutors say Hoyt faces a sentence of five to 29 years in prison.
