Johnson City officials are poised to turn a crumbling Endicott Johnson factory into a center for craft brews.

Several medial reports indicate The Village is looking for funding from New York State to develop the former E-J facility on Avenue B into a distribution center for New York craft beers.

The initial state funding would help stabilize the building located just yards from Village Hall in preparation for the development.

Plans for the structure include some beer manufacturing as well as packaging and distribution facilities for New York State-sourced beers as well as possible retail and restaurant space.
