The Broome County Health Department is issuing an advisory about possible exposure to COVID-19 during a Johnson City church gathering.

Authorities say if you were at the 11 a.m. service at Calvary’s Love Church on Reynolds Road on September 6, you are asked to self-quarantine until September 21 as someone at the service has tested positive for COVID-19. 

Officials have not said how many people they believe may have been at the service.

Anyone developing symptoms such as coughing, trouble breathing, high fever, aches, sore throat or loss of taste or smell should contact their healthcare provider. 

The Health Department reminds residents, as schools begin to reopen, people of all ages who may have been exposed to the coronavirus should quarantine.  Anyone with questions can call the Broome County Health Department.
