The National Weather Service in Binghamton says while the region saw a little dusting of snow into this morning, there may be more serious winter weather headed to the Twin Tiers.

According to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued at 4:28 a.m. November 14, NOAA says: “Wintry precipitation will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

According to the weather service, what could be the first widespread winter weather of the season, if it materializes, would likely have impacts on the morning commute on Wednesday, November 16.

NOAA cautions a Winter Weather Advisory may even be needed at a later time for some locations in the Binghamton forecast area.

The information in the Outlook from the Weather Service does not mention any possible snowfall amounts or locations where measurable snowfall may be more likely. But a 9 a.m. forecast update on November 14 indicated a possibility of two inches of snow accumulating on Tuesday night.
