FOR SALE: Binghamton Pizza Shop Now on the Market
The owners of a Binghamton business that's been serving New York-style pizza, wings and subs for several years have decided to sell the place.
Pizza Nia's on Rotary Avenue on the city's West Side opened in May 2015. It's located in what once was a two-story house attached to Abel's Pub.
Chris and Tara Shadduck own the pizza shop, which is located one block west of Recreation Park.
Chris Shadduck said he loves "the freedom of being an owner" of a business. But he said there's a lot of work involved in keeping your own place running properly. He concedes "it's very stressful."
Shadduck said a decision was made to put the pizza shop up for sale as he prepares to pursue another business venture.
Although he's seeking a new owner for Pizza Nia's, Shadduck the business will continue to operate as usual.
The shop is open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. It's open until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The Sunday operating hours are from noon to 9 p.m.
