Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick's Day Parade

The 56th annual Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Patrick's Parade is Saturday, March 2nd. This is the largest parade of the year and along with many local organizations, floats, bands, and businesses, this parade brings in marching units from other cities in New York and Pennsylvania.

Parade day will begin with mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Assumption Church, 192-194 Court Street in Binghamton, followed by the parade stepping off at 1:30 p.m. at the corner of Fayette and Court Streets, continuing west on Court Street which turns into Main Street, continuing west to Edwards Street.

Be aware that traffic, both motor and pedestrian traffic will be very heavy before, during, and after the parade. Many side streets that intersect with Court and Main Streets between Fayette and Edwards Streets, Binghamton will be closed off just before and during the parade. There will be officials and barriers set up throughout the parade route for safety.

The Town of Fenton and more specifically the Hillcrest Community are glad to host this small-town USA St. Patrick’s Day Parade. It has become a tradition to follow the Binghamton Parade with another opportunity for participants to show their stuff. Many thanks to the Broome County Sheriff’s Office and our neighboring communities for coordinating a safe parade route with as little disruption as possible to non-participants. It looks like a favorable day for the weather, so enjoy the parade! - Town of Fenton Supervisor Gary Holcomb
