One thing that we love in New York is our hockey. Whether it's the FPHL (Binghamton), AHL (Syracuse) or the NHL (Rangers/Flyers), we can't get enough of it. But what do we think about when it comes to shelling out big bucks to watch are favorite team win?

A recent study by sports betting experts at Thelines.com has unveiled the priciest teams to watch win, and the wallet-buster title goes to...The Chicago Blackhawks. Fans hoping to see the Blackhawks snag a win are looking at spending $653.94 on average. That's nearly 300% more than what you'd pay to see the New Jersey Devils take home a win.

Following behind the Blackhawks are the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers, in the expensive-to-watch-win list. These teams rank high on the price scale, making it a costly affair for fans wanting to see them triumph on the ice.

The research compared average ticket prices to the teams’ win rates to see how much you'd need to pay out to witness a victory. With teams like the Blackhawks carrying a big-time price tag, it's clear that some NHL teams are making fans dig deep into their pockets for a shot at celebration.

Brett Collson, Head of Sports at Thelines.com, said that while many fans want to support their favorite teams during the NHL season, the cost factor shows that not all teams are justifying the high prices of their tickets. So, before you get your tickets for the next game, think about whether the price is worth the win!
