The 2024-25 NFL regular season has come and gone and for the New York Giants, it didn't go anywhere near what they were hoping for. There's always next year but at least they were near the top of one chart. They are among the heavyweights...when it comes to the weight of the players.

They aren't number one but they aren't too far behind wither. The New England Patriots are packing on the pounds, snagging the title of the heaviest team in the NFL. They aren't messing around, with an average weight of 250.97 pounds.

The Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills are also flexing their muscles, coming in as the second and third heaviest teams, weighing in at 248.57 pounds and 247.06 pounds on average.  The New York Giants aren't far behind, with an average weight of 244.40 pounds. Big Blue is definitely living up to their name!

On the flip side, we've got the Miami Dolphins bringing it a bit of a lighter to the field, coming in at an average weight of 238.10 pounds.

It's like a heavyweight showdown out there on the gridiron! These players are not only jacked but also skilled athletes. From the tallest offensive tackles to the littlest wide receivers, each position brings its own size and agility to the game.

With the Patriots leading the charge and the Giants holding their own, maybe size doesn't really matter when it comes to ins and losses in the NFL The heaviest team was also one of the worst.
