Urgent Search Underway For Missing 92-Year-Old Man In Taughannock Falls State Park

Update: Mr. Lindemann has been found and is safe.

The New York State Police and law enforcement from various agencies have joined forces in a concerted effort to locate a missing vulnerable adult in the Taughannock Falls State Park just outside Ithaca, New York.

The missing individual, 92-year-old Eckhart Lindemann, hails from the Ithaca area and was last seen wearing tan Carhartt pants, a button-down shirt, a sweater, and ASOLO hiking boots.

The search for Mr. Lindemann has intensified in the region, with law enforcement deploying drones and K9 units to comb through the vast terrain of the state park. The authorities are leaving no stone unturned in their mission to find the missing senior citizen and bring him to safety.

The New York State Police have appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone who may have seen Mr. Lindemann or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact them immediately at (607)561-7400.
