They are all great teams to cheer for but the team that makes the most headlines in the NHL universe is...The Buffalo Sabres. They have just been crowned as the friendliest fans that you find, as they scored a perfect 10/10 on the politeness scale.

When it comes to spreading happiness, the Sabres fans are doing a great job with 46.2% of their Reddit convos sprinkled with positivity. And get this, only a tiny 3.7% of their comments contain any colorful language. Talk about setting the politeness bar high, am I right?

So how did they figure this all out, you ask? Well, the fantastic folks at Canada Sports Betting (CSB) took a big-time look into Reddit threads and stadium reviews to find out, that’s how.

They mixed and matched positive posts, polite language usage, and swear word frequencies to come up with a politeness scale that ranges from 1 to 10.
