Is this a 'thing' to do as we get up in age? That 'thing' is watching a bunch of reruns of television sitcoms we enjoyed in the past, that are no longer on the air.

Lately, I've been watching reruns of The Andy Griffith Show, M*A*S*H, The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Seinfeld. These are shows that I can watch episodes over and over again and not get tired of viewing each episode even though I know the plot for every one of the shows.

Maybe it's some sort of psychological thing of wanting to live in the past. I know know, I'm, not a psychiatrist. Nor do I care to understand. We like what we like, right?

Anyway, I ran across an article on the NBC New York 4 website about something that Jerry Seinfeld mentioned at one of his recent stand-up comedy shows in Boston, Massachusettes.

The article mentions that during a question and answer period of the evening, someone in the audience asked Jerry if he liked the final episode of the Seinfeld sitcom. Long answer short, he responded that he was very happy with it.

But, in answering the question, according to the NBC New York 4 website, in a video posted on Instagram by Linda Henry, the CEO of Boston Globe Media,  Seinfeld commented that he had a little secret about the ending, and that "Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. Hasn’t happened yet. And just what you are thinking about, Larry and I have also been thinking about it."

Now, just what does that mean? Could there be a Seinfeld reboot? Maybe just a one-off TV special showing what the cast members are up to in the present? Possibly an extension to the ending that disappointed so many Seinfeld show fans? Or is Jerry's answer all about nothing?

Well, I'd certainly welcome a reboot, I think. Though oftentimes times re-boots of TV sitcoms don't go over very well. I guess, according to Jerry Seinfeld, "So, you'll see." Or not.
