What Is The Southern Tier’s 2023 Concert Season Favorites?
I've been fortunate to be able to attend many music concerts over the few decades I've been on this planet. Being employed in the broadcast industry has certainly helped since we have sponsored many concerts over the years.
But there are still some artists and bands that I have not seen in concert and are on my bucket list. A few of those include the Rolling Stones (although I did see a Mick Jagger solo concert in New York City back in the 90s), Genesis, and Aerosmith.
There are many more that I will never get to see since they no longer are around like The Doors, Grateful Dead, Van Halen (original band), Jimi Hendrix, and the list goes on and on.
How about your concert bucket list? The 2023 concert season is being announced and there are some great shows coming up this spring, summer, and fall. I asked this question on social media - "The 2023 concert season is beginning to announce shows. What, if any, artist or band is on your concert bucket list to see this year?"
Well, surprisingly, there were only a few artists or bands that were mentioned more than once. I love the fact that people have such a wide range of musical tastes. Who were the ones that come up most often?
Luke Combs came up more times than any other artist.
Chris Stapleton was also a popular choice.
Drake Mulligan is on a few people's concert bucket lists.
Diamond Rio received some mentions as well, and they will be at Touch of Texas on March 18th.
Alabama (Randy Owen & Teddy Gentry) was a popular choice on the concert bucket list.
Here are a sampling of the other responses I received:
