Kirkwood Community Day Returns August 16 With Pageant, Live Music, And Food Vendors
The Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally is in the books for 2026, so what's next? If you are looking for something fun to check out this weekend, look no further than Kirkwood, New York.
The annual Kirkwood Community Day is this Sunday, August 16th (2026). The celebration will be at the Kirkwood Veterans River Park, located at 311 Main Street in Kirkwood.

During Kirkwood Community Day, you'll find all sorts of activities to see and take part in, including bounce houses, a wagon train ride, a petting zoo, local fire trucks, a drone demonstration, NYS Police demonstrations, the Broome County Safety Trailer, a children's tent, and face painting.
A church service will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.The car show will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a dog show at 10 a.m. and a drone show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Little Miss Kirkwood Pageant will take place at 12 Noon for Little Miss (4 to 7 years) and Junior Miss (ages 8 to 11). Come visit Bluey & Bingo at 1 p.m. Live music will be provided by The Cellar Yellers at 1 p.m. The Pickleball tournament will be from 2 to 4 p.m., along with the Hometown Voice Kirkwood Singing Contest during the same time.
In addition, the Kirkwood Community Days will feature many local food, craft, and artisan vendors.
