Mental Health Association Of The Southern Tier Golf Tournament

We have many great organizations that are devoted to helping those in our community. One of them is the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier. located at 47 Broad Avenue in Binghamton.

According to MHAST, their mission "has been to improve the quality of mental health of all residents in our community through advocacy, education, and support." They've been helping our communities since 1927.

What Are The Programs Supported by MHAST?

The Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier offered many programs, including:

The Sunrise Wellness Center: A peer-run program promoting wellness and recovery through individual and group support.

Mobile Crisis Services: A mobile team is dispatched with local law enforcement to provide crisis de-escalation and intervention services for mental health-related calls.

Crisis Respite House: A short-term residence for clients in crisis to receive 24/7 staff support in a safe environment.

Warmline: a 24/7 phone line available to anyone in need of support or someone to talk to.

Supportive Crisis Stabilization Center: Coming soon in 2024 on West State Street, Binghamton.

Golfers! MHAST Has A Tournament For You

It's time for the MHAST golf tournament fund-raiser. This golf tournament will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024, at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott, New York. The tournament will feature a breakfast and registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by an 8:30 a.m. Shotgun Start.

Lunch and Awards will be at 1:30 p.m. Not a golfer? You can still help support the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier by joining in for lunch. For more information on the event, visit the MHAST website.

The golf tournament will feature a captain and crew format, skins closest to the pin, longest drive, putting contest, and raffles.
