North West appeared to defend her mom Kim Kardashian during an encounter with the paparazzi over the weekend.

On Saturday (Jan. 28), Page Six shared a video of the mother-daughter duo leaving North's basketball game. While getting into their vehicle, a paparazzo asked Kim an invasive question about her ex-husband Kanye West in front of their 9-year-old daughter.

“Hey Kim, what do you think of Kanye hitting someone … the paparazzi’s phone?” the paparazzo asked Kim.

"Please leave!" a child could be heard screaming immediately after the paparazzo asked the question.

“Do not talk to me about that in front of my kids,” Kim responded sternly, prompting one of the other members of the paparazzi to apologize.

It's believed that North, who has been open about her frustration toward the paparazzi at previous events, was the child who shouted. Saint, 7, was also present with the family at the time.

Kanye was reportedly named a suspect in a Ventura County battery investigation just hours prior to Kim's encounter with the paparazzi.

On Jan. 27, Kanye was outside his daughter North's basketball game when a woman in a car began recording him on her phone.

"Y'all ain't gonna run up on me. If I say stop, stop with your cameras!” the rapper told her as she continued to film him on her cell phone.

After she refused, Kanye grabbed her phone and threw it onto the street.

He then noticed another person filming him and asked him to stop, which the man obliged.

Police were called to the scene around 4:30PM, where they received footage of the alleged altercation.
