Home Health Aide Accused of Stealing and Forging Checks from Client
A Sidney home health care aid is accused of forging checks from a client and cashing them.
New York State Police say 58-year-old Debra Mills is accused of making out the checks belonging to the woman payable to herself and forging the victim’s signature.
Troopers say they were contacted Tuesday, October 30 and arrested Mills November 1.
She’s charged with felony forgery and petit larceny.
Mills was released on her own recognizance and ordered to appear in Sidney Court.
