Maybe you're looking to start a Christmas tradition with your kids (or by yourself) that involves giving back to our community. Well, there's a really great way that you can do that and that's by serving a Christmas meal to someone through the Bandera Family Christmas, an annual event that the Southern Tier community has come to know and love.

Since 1989, the Bandera family has been serving meals to our community on Christmas day. When the Bandera Family Christmas was launched, just 69 meals were served. Now, in its 30th year, the Bandera Family Christmas serves over 3,000 meals (including 1,200 meal deliveries) and the Bandera family could really use some help from community volunteers.

The Bandera family offers a free Christmas meal to our community at the American Legion, Post 80, at The Boys And Girls Club in Endicott and at senior centers, including  110 Chenango, Woodburn Court, #1, and Lincoln Senior Building. The family has also expanded its outreach to the Norwich area.
