So what is Halloween going to look like in 2020? There have been so many questions that remain unanswered and it doesn't feel like it's going to change any time soon. There have been several  "normal" Halloween events like the Broome County Humane Society's Trunk-or-Treat this Saturday that have been canceled.

Here's something that can help to brighten up your spirit in the Hillcrest area. The Hillcrest Civic Association is proud to offer something for young and old alike. They are having Halloween fireworks in Hillcrest this Saturday, October 24th beginning at 7:30 p.m.

You can enjoy it as they light up the night sky from afar. The Hillcrest Park is closed to the public but Elliott Manufacturing is allowing you to park and safely enjoy from your vehicle.

If you live in the Hillcrest area, you can just look up from your home. As always when you go, don't forget to practice social distancing and keep it a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

The Hillcrest Civic Association serves over 100 families including nearly 250 children in Hillcrest along with the surrounding area. They've had to cancel their Civic Basketball season for the 2020-2021 season because of the COVID-19 restrictions

We just want to say thanks to the Hillcrest Civic Association because we can all use some brightness even at night during this Halloween season. I know I'll be looking toward the sky from my place on Saturday night.
