Guns and Drugs Seized on Pine Street, Binghamton
A Binghamton man is in the Broome County Jail after members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force say they found an assault rifle, handgun, high capacity magazine and several rounds of ammunition as well as drugs at a Binghamton apartment.
42-year-old Rondell Evans was arrested at his Pine Street home March 6.
Authorities say in addition to the weapons, they seized 32 grams of crack cocaine, drug packaging materials and about $1,300 in suspected drug sale proceeds.
Evans is charged with four felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, three felony criminal possession of a weapon counts, one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a weapon and two misdemeanor counts of criminally using drug paraphernalia.
