Greater Binghamton Chamber Offers Advice for Businesses Closing

With New York Governor Andrew Cuomo ordering all companies not considered “essential services” to keep 75% of their workforce at home, some advice is coming on how companies and employees can handle that.

The Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce begins a Remote Work Plan with an anticipated end date of April 13.  As the Chamber plans to continue to provide resources and information to help businesses during the new coronavirus-time, officials say they will “go virtual” in the weeks ahead.

The business support group has set up a comprehensive resource page for businesses at https://greaterbinghamtonchamber.com/coronavirus.

Chamber officials say they will use their digital communication tools and staff can be reached by phone and email.

The Chamber is also looking at the creation of financial resources to help some of the hardest hit sectors in the community.
