Time is running out for children of law enforcement officers and firefighters that have been killed in the line of duty to apply for the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation college scholarship program.

The deadline is July 1.

Applications can be made at http//nleafcf.org/scholarships/general-scholarship.

General scholarships provide a maximum award of five-thousand dollars for a single academic year.  The awards are based on financial need as well as academic merit and other achievements.
