Fire Extinguished at Oakdale Mall

Broome County Emergency Services officials are releasing no details about a small fire at the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City early in the morning on June 16 that kept authorities on the scene for several hours.

The blaze inside the building was reported at about 1:22 a.m. June 16 this morning and fire officials said they were turning operations back over to mall management at 3:42 a.m.

There were no reports of injuries or details on whether the blaze was in an occupied business at the mall.

Sprinkler systems reportedly took care of the flames.
