No injuries are being reported in a fire that has damaged a home and drew firefighters from a half dozen companies to the Town of Binghamton March 4.

The fire in the 600-block of Park Avenue between Stevens and Parkwood Roads was reported at 8:41 a.m. and was said out, for the most part, around an hour later.

Fire apparatus from several departments including Town of Binghamton, City of Binghamton, Kirkwood, Conklin, Vestal, Endicott, Endwell and Silver Lake, Pennsylvania was dispatched to the scene along with ambulance crews, law enforcement and fire investigators.

As of 9 a.m. Emergency Services officials said they expected Park Avenue to be closed in that area South of the Town Hall for hours.
