An Endwell woman is accused of falsely reporting that someone stole some of her belongings while she was away in November.

New York State Police responded to a report of a burglary on Hoover Avenue November 24 when 25 year old Lisa VanDyke said her television, video game console and computer tablet had been stolen.

Investigators later determined the report was apparently false.

When they tracked her down during a traffic stop January 24 at 11:38 a.m. on suspicion she was driving on a suspended license, Troopers say they also found she didn’t have a court-ordered ignition interlock device as required from a prior drunk driving conviction.

VanDyke is to appear in Town of Union Court at a later date.
